Jørgen Brandt er i Maj 2008 udnævnt til QEP-Photographer (Qualified European Photographer) som en af de 2 første danske til at opnå denne prestigefyldte udmærkelse.

 

 

Udmærkelsen tildeles i forskellige specialer som bryllup, portræt, reklame, illustration, mode ...... og nu for første gang i Fine Art

 

Pr maj 2008 er der 267 QEP fotografer i Europa - heraf kun 2 i Danmark.

FEP, the Federation of European Professional Photographers has introduced since 1999 a single system of qualifications which is recognised and accepted by the 21 member associations of 19 countries within Europe.

This European qualification - which is known as QEP - is based on the long established British system of qualification for professional photographers.

All candidates submit to the international jury a panel of 12 images, which will be judged in conditions of anonymity and under strict professional conditions.

To date, the FEP has conferred this truly international qualification on 267 (may 2008) photographers coming from Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom and Australia (BIPP member).

The QEP label is given in various specialisations such as wedding, portrait, reportage, architecture, advertising, illustration, etc.
